Let's talk about you for a second
As a teacher, selflessness can feel like part of the job description. But let’s take a moment to consider how being a traveling teacher with EF can impact you—as an educator, as a leader of student travel experiences, and yes, as a person, too.
We’re covering:
Enjoy world-class travel rewards
EF Group Leaders get access to the best rewards program in the world—and as constant global travelers, we don’t use that phrase unless we really mean it. First of all, there are tons of easy ways to earn Global Rewards Points—including enrolling students or referring a friend. And second, you’ll be able to put them to use practically right away. Redeem them for VIP Rewards Tours (a.k.a just-for-you, just-for-fun adventures that go everywhere from Rwanda to Rome and Istanbul to the Tour de France), or exchange them for student scholarships or other EF travel opportunities.
Join a community of lifelong learners
EF offers a wide range of opportunities to connect with other globally minded teachers and grow as an educator. And when you enroll students on one of our tours, you join the EF Group Leader Lounge. From classroom resources to exclusive events, you’ll receive ideas and inspiration in the time leading up to your trip.
-
Get inspired
Meet fellow educators at EF’s Global Education Symposium, get access to events like the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit, or go on a tour just for teachers.
-
Get credit for growing
Earn up to six graduate-level credits or 45 professional learning hours or points—all while exploring new destinations. See details here.
-
Get a chance to give back
Invest even further in your school community by using your Global Rewards Points to fund a full or partial tour scholarship for a deserving student traveler.
Experience a tour before you lead one
Once enrollment is underway, first-time Group Leaders are welcomed into the EF family with training programs designed just for you, at no cost. Our in-person training tours take place in places like San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and New York. There, you’ll learn from both EF staffers and Educational Travel Advisors (experienced Group Leaders who often serve as mentors throughout the planning process) to get a taste of what your own tour will look like. Whether you embark on a training tour or take part in our virtual training program, we’ll make sure you feel prepared and confident before you lead your students on tour.
Put on your future-thinking cap
While you’ll walk away from tour with many tangible rewards, the most important one is the life-changing impact you’ll make on your students. You’ll help them prepare for the future by helping them learn more about the world, themselves, and their place in the world. Plus, they just might get their first taste of a New York slice. And that’s also truly life-changing.
