Commemorate our country’s 250th anniversary on a journey through the cradle of American independence. Students will explore pivotal landmarks across Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia, from the Boston Tea Party Ships and Ellis Island to the Liberty Bell. Along the way, they’ll bear witness to the revolutionary birth of our nation and gain insights into the figures and foundational moments that helped to shape it.
  • Day 1: Boston

    Meet your Tour Director at your destination

    Walk the Black Heritage Trail, which explores the history of Boston’s Black community in the 1800s 

    Visit the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum

    Dinner at Quincy Market

  • Day 2: Boston • Lexington and Concord

    Explore Charlestown and the North End 

    Go inside the Old North Church

    Take a guided sightseeing tour of Boston

    Travel to New York City

    Visit a historic fort that offers a glimpse into the daily life of soldiers during the Revolutionary War 

    Take a walk through Central Park

    • Learn about Seneca Village, a 19th-century community founded by free African  Americans 

    Enjoy views of New York City from one its iconic skyscrapers, like:

    • Edge at Hudson Yards
    • Empire State Building Observatory
    • One World Observatory

  • Day 4: New York City

     Take a boat cruise around Liberty and Ellis Islands (disembark pending availability)

    • Marvel at the 151-foot Statue of Liberty engineered by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, of Eiffel Tower fame
    • Explore the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration (pending availability)  

    Take a walking tour of Lower Manhattan

    • Fraunces Tavern

    • St. Paul’s Chapel

    Dinner in New York City

    Visit Times Square

    Attend a Broadway show (based on a select list of current shows)

  • Day 5: New York City • Philadelphia

    Travel to Philadelphia

    Make a photo stop at the Rocky Steps in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art 

    Have lunch and explore Reading Terminal Market 

    Visit the Museum of the American Revolution

    Take a guided tour of Independence National Historical Park

    Get up close to the Liberty Bell
