Visit Grand Canyon National Park

- Yavapai Point
Participate in a Service Learning project at a national park
(Tasks could include anything from maintaining hiking trails to helping reintroduce the formerly extinct California condor)
Visit the Lowell Observatory, where Pluto was discovered

Day 3: Tuba City • Window Rock • Northern New Mexico
Travel to Tuba City, a major city in the Navajo Nation
Explore the Moenkopi dinosaur tracks with a Navajo guide
Visit the Explore Navajo Interactive Museum, Code Talker exhibit, and Trading Post
Travel to Window Rock
Visit Window Rock, the capital city of Navajo Nation
- Learn how the Navajo created an impenetrable code for Allied forces during World War II at the Code Talker Memorial

Participate in a Service Learning project in coordination with a national park or in collaboration with local Native American communities
